Kudos to Rudy for applying his touch on editing, scene, and set changes which kept the movie moving Forward to a plot that felt very familiar. I enjoyed his conversations with the the puppet and the Brazilian steakhouse scene was by far the highlight of the entire move. Stripping away the highlights for me I couldn't help but feel the plot was a more dull, less funny Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Spoiler:
A lost mid 20 something man who's into music and puppets has a break up that questions his path in life. Then meets a new girl which turns into a sort of love triangle/more rejection, that ultimately leads to the main character realizing he needs to love himself first and focuses on his own personal growth by producing a musical puppet play.
