I love a good British period drama. This was very satisfying in the first three seasons - until season 4. The characters evolved to disappoint. The plot didn't satisfy expectations. The music was changed; very irritating snd displeasing. We never saw certain main characters again - characters we came to love and appreciate. It just should have ended after season 3. The main character, Eleanor, who virtue signals through every season, really disappoints us by the decisions she makes. And alas, her life's project is taken from her. Never saw that coming. Hated the ending. Again, just watch the first three seasons.
