This version of Ronja is darker and gives more depth to the story than the movie of 1984. The production feels new and up to date thou I loved the old movie too. Astrid Lindgren wrote fantastic story's and dared to write about the sad dark parts of life just as the good light parts. I think this shows in the new serie. The story is based on the book and some characters is new to me. It took som time to get used to the new afters, but now I love all of them. My kids love it too! A serie for all ages. I look forward to the rest chapters of this beautifully filmed serie. Sweden nature captured in its essens.
