Is everyone in this town a killer?
30 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I found this B Monogram western very cumbersome to watch as there are far too many characters and too many weird plot maneuvers, putting black and white on every single person who walks through the frame. Bob Steele is saddled with a murderer incognito (George Chesebro) as his deputy, and there ends up being another ruthless killer as well, played by Steve Clark.

There's the typical feisty young woman (Louise Stanley) who serves only the purpose of someone having to be in jeopardy. There were many B westerns like this where they rushed out scripts willie nilly without regards to quality, just the smidgeon of a plot, the typical number of shwithout and lots of scenes where all you here is a horse galloping. Truly cumbersome to get through.
