An Actor's Revenge is a strange and often perplexing film, but I kind of dug it. Its story is a simple one about plotting revenge against a trio of individuals, but it's the presentation that makes it all stand out. It feels intentionally stagey at times and continually seems to comment on itself; doing meta commentary before it was cool and all that, so simply trying to acknowledge the idea of a story within a story (maybe within another story; I lost count).
That all led to something I was very confused about at times, but most of An Actor's Revenge was easy to appreciate, if not understand. I'm keen to read what smarter people than me thought of it.
