Warning: Spoilers
Set at the peak of a crime wave sweeping across London, teenage Ash is trying to earn money to raise his 14-year-old sister and send his mother to rehab when he's caught up with an organised crime ring led by a young and charismatic Albanian immigrant.

As the crimes escalate from stealing mobile phones on the street to jewellery store robberies, Ash must choose between his lavish new lifestyle or the people he loves before his whole world comes crashing down around him.....

First things first, I am totally out of the demographic for this film. But, I was in the demographic when Paul WS Anderson's 'Shopping' was released in the nineties, and this film has lots of similarities. Which isn't a bad thing.

We have the protagonist, who wants out, but needs to do one last big job, so he can look after his family. Isn't that always the case?

Then you have the live wire, the guy who goes a little too far for his own good, and then gets booted out of the gang, with consequence.

It's all perfunctory stuff, but it's executed really well, and although there is a lot of street slang, such as 'fam' and 'allow it', it doesn't deter from the narrative, which is meat and potatoes stuff anyway.

It all goes along at a steady pace, and although it's highly predictable, it's a lot of fun.
