It's hard to believe Toto's Africa is more than 40 years old, yes that's right, over four decades, but Africa lives on and it was a famous part of Straight No Chaser's The 12 Days of Christmas, and it went viral and all. Anyway, Africa is definitely easy listening music at its best (and I mean that in the most complimentary way possible) and it's one that plays in your head and you can't quite get it out of your head.
Anyway, maybe one day a band can cover this song and perform in different parts of Africa and all to celebrate this song. I'm surprised it wasn't used in the aid concerts in the 80s.
