It's 2024 now and I got this recommended as a video on demand. Usually, those recommendations are watchable but that's about it.
This time was so very different. Starbuck from 2011 is such a good movie. So incredibly superior to any of the Hollywood crap that's out there. I can't even imagine one single Hollywood actor that would be capable to replace Starbuck in this movie. No way. He's perfect for the role and so are the other actors.
To be fair, I have to say one thing. You probably have to be a parent to give this a 10/10. I don't think it would have been the same experience for me if I was - hmm - let's say 20 years old watching this movie.
Of course there are certain things that you can say could be different and better, but that's by far not enough to deduct even 1 star. It's so heart warming and brilliant. I loved it.
If you are uncertain whether you should watch this movie or not, and you are a parent yourself - don't hesitate and watch it. You won't be disappointed, I promise!
