Our family loves the animated versions of Diary of a Wimpy Kid on Disney+ but this one is the unfortunate exception.
The story is all over the place with Greg trying to be good so that he gets the new gaming system he wants. There is brief mention of Santa but after Greg finds the coveted gift in his house there is no mention of the big guy again.
As a parent I would have preferred for them to either go all in on Santa or simply make this about a gift he asked his parents for but not the mixture of the two as the the story ended up being flat and not making sense.
As others have already stated, this movie is listed for ages 6+ which really needs to be updated.
