Romancero (2023– )

Could have been great but lacks logic

Warning: Spoilers
Although the actors and images are to my opinion, pretty good, special effects are far from perfect, and more importantly, the story was really poorly written. So much that they had to cut it into confusing flashbacks, so that we don't piece together the lack of coherence of the whole story before the last episode.

But, once you get there, it looks like the young girl was sexually abused by multiple truckers, but... Well, she looks fine. Just a little cut on her lips. But no trauma, no fear. No big deal... Really?... So we're not sure she was abused. The older girl who was with her seems fine too. Weird, isn't it?

Now the weirdest part, is that vampire in the camp, who met the girl and liked her instantly. She could have told her to run away. She could have fought to protect her. She could have attacked the driver who brought them to the truckers... But no. She waited after, to tell her a useless story about a moving tree, and to give her the power to finally defend herself... That's not logical at all!

Not logical either is the good/bad police officer, who has his own demons and gets killed by them, or by kids, we don't know.

Also, there are serpent/religious people hunting for vampires for some reason we don't know.

That's a lot of weird beings for a small village!

And to top the whole thing, the end was very predictable.
