As a former "horse" person, I have to say that I enjoyed this as I love watching horses jumping.
Sweet movie with obvious love between mother and daughter.
They really brushed over why Dante was no longer teaching until Moondance comes along. Barely notice in the commentary by the narrator at the horse show, never to be mentioned again.
If Moondance and Checkers had been entered in the Jumpers division it might have been credible that they could win. And in fact would have been more dramatic and impressive.
To have Moondance win in a Hunter's class after only a seemingly few months of riding makes zero sense. Nope. Not credible. And they glossed over the judge who said she would not allow the Pinto to be a winner.
Otherwise cute film.
