(1967) Django, Kill (If You Live Shoot!)/ Se sei vivo spara (If You Are Alive, Shoot!) DUBBED SPAGHETTI WESTERN/ HORROR

Co-written and directed by Giulio Questi. That has (Tomas Milian) discovered in the middle of the night gasping somewhere along the desert. Found by two medicine-like Indians (Miguel Serrano and Angel Silva) who were scrounging around looking for useful items, stumble onto and revive him, after he had been shot. They also come across a bag of some gold dust, and instead of keeping it from him, they then try to fix him up, performing some kind of ritual. It was at this point, while he was knocked out, we get to see how he came to that kind of state. And it has something to do with two different groups collaborating together against the Yankee army for the intention of stealing their gold. And unfortunately, the stranger and his Mexican gang are then double crossed by Oakes (Piero Lulli) and his gang so that they would not have to divide their share of the gold dust. Forced to dig up an empty hole, so that after they are done the stranger and his Mexican gang can be shot into it. The character Tomas Milian who is half Mexican, as soon as he becomes fully awake he then seeks retribution. Because the two people who saved him are familiar with the area, they warned him that where he is going toward is not that safe and is a dangerous town. Just as soon as Oates and his bloodthirsty men got to town, Oates then tries to buy up some horses from some of the townspeople, since some of them got away as a result of the sound of gunfire and a loose Mexican bandit swinging a machete before he was shot by Oate's men. But just soon as Oates show the barkeep, Bill Templer (Milo Quesada) the gold dust. Templer fist gives him the insinuation he was going to get some extra horses for him and his gang before he and a fanatic reverend named Alderman (Paco Sanz) double cross them by turning the townspeople against them. They do this with guns before they hang Oates gang as a display. Oates manages to escape but as soon as a 500 dollar reward was offered is when the stranger steps in using the gold bullets that was melted down by the two people who saved him. It was at this point, the focus went from Oates and his gang toward the townspeople. When the sacks of gold dust end up being stolen from some of the horses and divided up between the barkeep, Templeton and the fanatic pastor, Alderman clashing with a large white guy named Sorrow (Roberto Camardiel) and his gang, all wearing the same clothing of black pants and T-shirts. Resulting to an unpredictable final with the stranger becoming the stooge.

First of all, there is no relation to Django the character as the name has not been uttered once throughout the entire film. Second-this is not exactly a western per se, as there are many elements of gross out scenes than gunfights, such as live scalping and gory blood thirst of the mob mentality upon their beatings to people they do not recognize. And many examples of mistreatment of animals even though it is fake looking, animal lovers may not like to see this. The ending made no sense other than to shock viewers some more who are tired to see a conventional ending.
