This is a biopic spoof involving the songs of Weird Al (Daniel Radcliffe). As a child, his mother told him to stop being himself and doing the things he likes. His father wants him to work in his factory where he lost a hand. There is a Harry Potter reference when Dr. Demento (Rainn Wilson) wanted to be his Dementor. In his stage song, he does a Jim Morrison impersonation. He also does Jackie Chan's style of fighting. The garden party early in the film had a group of stars one can easily recognize as the oddballs of the age. Jack Black has a small part as Wolfman Jack. Evan Rachel Wood plays Madonna, Al's girlfriend who begs him to parody his songs.
