10/10
A brilliant display of a murder mystery and the best season premire. (Spoilers for season 12 episodes 6 and 8

Warning: Spoilers
The characters didn't act out of character, they never leave out the possibility that it could be someone else besides the person who they all suspect, as people like asgary-howe, durham100, and lee-wilson have pointed out, this episode does not have a lot of humor, but it's a murder mystery, do you expect there to be a lot of humor in the episode? In my opinion, there being almost no jokes works in the favor of this episode, this episode takes itself seriously by saying that those characters are dead forever and cannot be revived, unlike season 12's Life of Brian which joked about Brian's death at basically every chance they got and replaced him with Vinnie, only to revive him in season 12 episode 8 Christmas guy. Overall the reason this episode is a 10 out of 10 for me is this episode gets into it straight away, they don't leave out the possibility that someone could have planted the body and the trophy in Tom Tucker's room, and the episode takes itself seriously by making little to no jokes and saying that the characters that died in this episode are dead forever also more minor characters are seen like Derek, Seamus, Muriel, Jillian, Diane Simmons and Tom Tucker when most of the time these characters aren't even seen in the same episode No characters are neglected, the episode is takes itself very seriously and the plot makes sense and unlikely combos are seen. With the murderer being someone we never would suspect.
