What the heck?

Warning: Spoilers
It's like a sad follow up to what happens when Manic Pixie Dream Girls never get their ADHD diagnosis and just live a sad life of incompetence. It's not cute anymore when you're 50+. To imply that things would have been better if she had a man to help her be able to accomplish the basics in life, like knowing directions, is crazy making. And then to simply decimate the heart strings of the percentage of the population who have dealt with miscarriages, and think that that is all the emotional insight that you need for the audience to connect with your characters is just bad writing. I love Meg Ryan and David Duchovny, but I'm sad that their names are the only reason this movie is going to make money in the box office.
