On patrol, United Arab Emirates Armed Forces soldiers encounter Yemen forces along the road with an apparent broken truck. The Yemen soldiers ask them to check out 'activity', and so they head to the given location, which leads them through a canyon.
However, they are ambushed and exposed to heavy gunfire, trapping Ali, Bilal and Hindasi in their armoured vehicle.
