I do not feel this film is heartwarming. I do not feel that nurse Gilpin or any of the characters except Dr Valentine show any humanity, empathy or kindness to any of the elderly in the Beth. I feel so sad and disheartened after 42 years of nursing that this is how nurses are portrayed by the media. We might as well all give up now! The sole person showed to care was the doctor...how does that play out in reality. It is such a poor reflection on care in the NHS. It paints such a bleak picture for both the elderly and for those who work in that speciality. There truly was nothing humorous or heartwarming. In fact lets all board the flight to Switzerland now!
