I cannot express to you how amazing this show is.. Amazing is an understatement!! I cannot put into words how this show has inspired me as someone who wants to go into screenwriting and production!
Everything in this show has so much love and hard work poured into it! The animation is spectacular, the voice acting has so much passion, and the writing IS STELLAR! Everything is so amazing, that it's hard to tell you how great it is! Each season just gets better and better, and it challenges the main character in such an amazing way! Each character has amazing arcs, and the relationships between each character is so authentic and sometimes complex in such an amazing way! You just keep wondering "What's going to happen next?"
So many scenes have small details that really show the emotions being felt, and how the conflict really affects the characters! Not to mention it's heavily inspired by the classic novel "Journey to the West", which is a classic Chinese work! It does such an amazing job translating every conflict and ever character based off that novel! I seriously can't give this show enough props!
Seriously though, if you want to watch something that is AMAZING- PLEASE take some time and watch this show! It's truly a masterpiece!
