I did not have any real high expectations for this movie. I took it for what I expected it to be, a fun horror comedy. Nothing too serious, and it was exactly that. The movie delivered what it promised. There were a few laughs, although it was not as funny as The Selling. The cast was good and they did a fine job with what they were given. The special effects were okay, nothing that really stood out and the story of the family being murdered was actually pretty dark for the overall tone of the film. But it did work. This is a likable movie, not particularly memorable, but it was not painful to sit though either. Not a bad movie to watch.
