While it was a nice movie, there are some unrealistic things that aren't funny. First, why is the teacher assigning homework for Winter Break, especially a long book? I have never known any teacher to assign any homework for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Spring Break. Why does Linus criticize Charlie Brown for not finishing the book before New Year's Eve? How was he even able to finish that book? Why do the kids need to take a class to learn to dance for the party? In fact, shouldn't Peppermint Patty's parents be there to help watch the kids. Why does Snoopy sniff in Lucy's drink, real dogs niff for food. In fact, where did Lucy find a microscope to check for germs in her drink? How late did Heather (the red hair girl) arrive and how early did she leave? In fact, why didn't she tell Charlie Brown she was coming? Why doesn't anyone know where Charlie Brown is when he never left the porch to read his book in the dark? I could go on and on, but there are many things in it that even little kids would know is not real life.
