Bad all around

I love true stories and I hadn't heard about this story prior so I thought I'd give it a try. The story line was incredibly slow. I will add the drama comes as the very end of the movie. It's painful to watch it's so terrible.

The actors were terrible. I've seen high school plays with better believability. The main actress while very pretty is preschool at best. I think she was cast because her raspy voice and high pitched squeal. She tried overacting in parts and completely boring in others. There was no connection. I think the casting director must have been out of his mind or they were related because it was astonishingly awful. The male actor although I would say slightly more tolerable was still not up to par. Some of his emotions seemed genuine but only briefly. The detective was well let's just say trying too hard and let's be honest he will never be cast in anything of even remote value.

The crew was just as terrible. The sound, the lighting, the set designers all appear to be less than amateur. Even if this was a low budget film there was so many ways to improve.

I felt bad for the real Jennifer Grayson as her story is very important but the storytellers did not live up to expectations. Save yourself the time and just google her story.
