Silly bizarre not funny or scary
15 August 2023
A very bizarre and confusing mess of a film. This movie seems to try and integrate different genres into one. It is about a woman scientist (whom looks like a young Carla Gugino) plotting experiments on three college students which somehow turns them into mutants looking to kill. There are little subplots but none exactly engaging, including a weird one with the daughter talking to her robotic toy computer figure.

There are these weird silver metal pinballs where if they characters eat them they start to slowly transform. What was most bizarre is how these pinballs would randomly appear and how none of the characters thought of spitting them out. An instance where the maid drinks her drink and a pinball is in the drink unknowingly, yet she doesn't think to spit it out.

The film does have some nudity and weird explicit sx scenes (the last thirty or so minutes turns into a softcore with some gore).

As a whole this film isn't nearly as funny enough to be considered so bad it's good, and the gore and violence is too cheap looking to be scary or taken serious. Entirely forgettable 1980's horror comedy.
