While Pucca was not exactly the greatest cartoon ever made, I always found it to be cute.
I do remember the original dialogue-free shorts used to be aired during the very last days of Fox Kids during commercial breaks.
The art style was simple, but charming, kinda like Hello Kitty. And some of my friends from school really liked a lot the characters, having some merch inspired by it.
The series was a bit more "Americanized", but still retained some of the charm from these early shorts. It wasn't nowhere as bad some people claimed.
It feels like a whole life has passed since I was a happy teen who used to enjoy watching Jetix. The whole world feels so different now, and mostly for the worse.
By comparison, the 2000s feel much more innocent and wholesome.
