This take-off on Murder she wrote is kind of funny. At first I liked it. It was spritely and had a tasteless cheeriness to it. Paula Pell breezes through the role, Hayley Magnus is fun as her instagramming sidekick, and there are a wealth of known faces as guest stars.
Sometimes it's funny, but there is a lot of low humor that is more cringy than funny, and a lot of very obvious jokes that are way too familiar.
After watching the first mystery and a bit of the second I found that my annoyance with the worst of this was overshadowing my amusement at the best of it. So I gave up.
I can't really recommend it.
