Well we reach the final episode of the series and 8 episodes does, seem a lot especially for this group of old actors.
We finally see Gerald beyond the cafe but not in the same shot as the other main characters so it makes you wonder if it was filmed at the same time and no sign or mention of Guy (whom wasn't even included in the flashback shots from the original film) or his heavily pregnant soon to be married partner Yvonne.
Dennis has fitted in seamlessly to the show but Darren doesn't seem quite right being introduced by Guy who then gets written out.
With another key actor having his funeral, there really seems no need for a second series.
The end to this could have been stronger. There is no need to flog a dead Horse.
