As soon as I heard that Jon Peters had been attached to Superman Lives, I knew it was going to be a mess. I remember Neil Gaiman saying how Jon Peters created an insane script for The Sandman and sabotaged it to stop the movie from happening because he knew it was going to be a skip fire.
The idea of. Nicholas Cage as Superman is a pretty awesome one and seeing him in The Flash, even briefly, sealed that for me. It's a pity that this movie was never made, Tim Burton in my opinion, would have been able to pull it off, but alas, it was not meant to be which breaks my geeky little heart.
