Ciro Dapagio's film, Mob King, puts him on the map with fumes of Tarantino-like filmmaking and busts out into the limelight like a nebulous starburst of new Hollywood talent. This is not just another mob film. This one has a relevant theme, bringing hot-topic current events, cleverly weaving them into a crime family. Not for kids, it's rough and tumble; but done with heart and soul, and then some.
