Sadly, I generally look at a cast before venturing to watch a movie these days, as I feel that in these days of CGI and the superhero multiverse, there's nothing really stimulating me these days. Then this comes along. When you read a good book you tend to shut out the important things around you ; walking the dog, watering the plants ( ironically ) and eating. It's been quite some time since a well constructed, engaging and subtle piece of sumptuous cinematography has enraptured me in such a fashion. To Edgerton, Swindell and the wondrous Weaver, many thanks. Even "porch dog" deserves a shout. I truly hope this piece of art cleans up the available silverware. Best night I've had in years.
