That squanders a super-talented cast on what seems like a platform to raise awareness for postpartum psychosis. The characters lack the depth that connects them to such an emotionally charged, if not a completely misunderstood, subject. The movie never really leaned into or committed in any meaningful way to exploring the depth and darkness of psychosis, but rather defaulted to a Lifetime movie approach to delivering more of the same stereotypes explored superficially and diluted by insensitivity. Strong cast delivers despite the projects limitations, which is the only reason this movie is watchable.
