The movie was ok, it put you in the shoes of a Jewish pianist surviving the German occupation. Honestly, it's boring in stretches since we already know the pianist survives therefore it has no stakes. Due to this and a subject matter has been done to death it personally didn't move me. The side characters weren't compelling or interesting, and the pianist himself is just a guy on the run who can play the piano, no other notable traits besides that. Because the subject matter is overdone and we already know how it ends it needs a lot more to keep it engaging which this doesn't have. Granted this is a biography so can't deviate too much or else it loses accuracy.
