Who can understand oblomov?
9 May 2023
It is not a work about laziness, but a harbinger of the nihilism that is collapsing on Russia.

Oblomov is someone who seems lazy from the outside but is never lazy with dialogues. His concern is not how to live life, but why we should live it. Everyone around him is in a rush, even his most loyal friend Stoltz. But why? Why is all this turmoil going on for nothing? Why can't we live like grass? What was wrong with that? We are all prone to abominations and vile acts as we go about our lives. Whereas Oblomov is not like that. He lives with pride, dignity and dignity in what you call laziness. Cares about everything. We know this from his dislike of Olga and his discomfort at being humiliated. Oblomov also knows: he knows that if he lives, he must join them and become like everyone else in the whirlpool of life. Stays away from life because the basic questions of life have not been answered yet. Love is not the answer. Because falling in love means becoming everyone. Oblomov's aim is to live like a weed for a lifetime but never turn to poison ivy. That is, as it is seen, Oblomov is not a nihilist in the full sense of the word, he will be a nihilist if he lives. And instead of living, he chose to die every day.
