Mongolian Death Worm (2010 TV Movie)
2/10
Bad and then some.

They didn't even try to make the movie as if it was filmed in Mongolia. All right, low budget, which doesn't always mean a bad movie, but when one throws in actor roles of being dumb, it almost insults the viewer. The movie starts out with a malfunctioning pump, seemingly not connected to anything, but of great concern. There is a scoundrel, who then meets up with a woman doctor who is desperate to get medicine to a local village to treat a cholera epidemic. She seems totally unaware of the situation of being where she is supposed to be, which is far from civilization and quick help, and her colleague seems even dumber. The vehicle breaks down, and they are told they need to get off the road to avoid being caught by criminals who roam at night, but naturally they camp just off the road and build a campfire. There was a decent explanation for the appearance of the worms which just made the rest of the script so sloppy. The theme of the movie is interesting, but the execution is terrible. And the set for the plant made no sense for what was supposed to be going on.
