Review of Behemoth

Behemoth (2011 TV Movie)
1/10
Unbelievably Bad

I can't believe that I wasted one and a half hours on this totally campy movie. The characters and plot development were inane to say the least and totally predictable. The many plots and sub-plots were all cliched and reminiscent of many other 'B' genre films. The younger actors were totally out of their depth with no sense of realism portrayed in their parts. The retired professor was portrayed as a bumbling idiot with bouts of lucidity and conversely, dementia. Not at all believable. The 'black ops' character was, to put it mildly, totally miscast. Trying to act enigmatic and mysterious at the same time was not a credit to this production. The main protagonist did show a degree of strength and resolve - probably the only saving grace of this film. Facetiously speaking, the 'behemoth' seemed to have better acting skills than most of the cast.
