Piggy is a unique Spanish horror film, with a slice of humour, that unfortunately never elevates to any gravitas.
The performances of Sara and her parents are decent, but it's all a bit of wasted potential. It fails to resonate and the conclusion's poor, making little sense, after it had a solid initial setup. There's also nothing beyond the film's main theme at all to ponder and the killer's characterization's "thin." I don't understand why she even kills him, based on everything that's happened prior or by what we are led to perceive of her. Because of these things, it's rather disappointing.
