A Roger Corman First
26 January 2023
This was the first picture Roger Corman produced for his new company, New Line Cinema. It was also produced by John Ashley who acted and produced in some Phillapino horror movies as well as some other suprising movies like Apocalypse Now!

The writng is attrocious and the acting is sub par -- even for grind house movies. The music track sounds like it came out of the Star Trek TV show or the original Planet of the Apes.

The diecting is not especially good. The plot, such as it is, unfolds really slowly. I get the feeling the makers thought the abundant topless women would be enough. It's not. We really need a story.

This movie doesnt have a good angle.

The two things of note are the production values which are way above standards for movies like this. And the appearance of Pam Grier, who made a living off grind house for decades.
