Ridley Scott typically makes really good movies, there's no doubt about that. This is his worst one I've seen though. This was the world and story with these characters that did not need a sequel. The movie barely held my attention at all. It was boring, jumped around way too much when nothing went on, and was not a compelling mystery like Silence of the Lambs. Hannibal's storyline wasn't that convincing, however Anthony Hopkins did play him well again, and Julianne Moore didn't do too bad either. The twist at the end when it seemed like he was going to cut off her hand but really cut off his own was good, as well as the scene on the plane with the little boy. Other than that, not much noteworthiness.
