Rainbow Pearls, Bounty/Demon Hunting in the perfectly established world of Inuyasha franchise. More like a filler season. Distrubing developments from the original runs.

Its a direct continuation from what was left on the last episode of the inuyasha final act series but focusing on different characters that are the childrens of the original characters. Its like using the already established world from the inuyasha series but the main focus shift onto their respective future generations. I dont feel comfortable knowing that rin ended up becoming seshoumarus wife lol, she was still a kid. Saw Koga just briefly for a moment with no dialogues and it was a bit confusing to follow the storyline and keeping up with the sudden changes.

Tbh i was worried with the way the storyline progressed that was very much alike the inuyasha series. But things gotten better later on, so be patience. Instead of Shikon Jewels the focus changed to a new antique known as Rainbow pearls (weaker in power compared to Shikon Jewel but grants variety of abilities original to each pearls). All the three main characters in this series were 'boyish' girls that have their own subplots to the main storyline (same formula as in the inuyasha series). The execution of the storyline was a bit messy and rushed. Many plot holes as always.

Unlike the original run, this sequel took time travel and its consequences very seriously. The quality of the animation tremendously improved. All the original characters appeared, some are recurring characters for this sequel and almost all the original voice casts returned for this project. Loving the interaction between the new characters and the old characters. Sound scores were very original to the earliest season of the inuyasha series - very classic & nostalgic.

All the intro and outro songs were okay. Not something that i would watch again but still highly recommended.
