Remote Control is amateurish and silly, with a weak premise to begin with.
Starts out okay and does some things right, but declines and becomes rather tedious late. The aliens which we never even see, take over a video company and its occupants with mind control and anyone else who watches the film. Which is another problem in and of itself, as we simply get empty shells a fair amount of the time. The protagonist and antagonist are poorly cast, while the other actors were decent, but in limited roles. Deborah Goodrich quite nice even, but I can't say the character was memorable. Also I'm no expert, but I don't think you can crush videotapes by stomping on them, they're pretty strong.
