No pun intended - ten years ago I watched the first movie in the Snabba Cash trilogy. Back then it was announced I reckon that it would become a trilogy. I rewatched the first movie because just watching the trailer wasn't enough. I did remember Kinnaman and his role in it ... but had forgotten about the other players - again no pun intended.
The sequel let's a few year pass by ... as they did in real life. The fact that a few years passed helps - because this is a direct sequel to the first one. And the next one goes hand to hand with that concept. They may even have been shot together .. I would not be surprised if that was the case. Kinnaman whom I praised in the first movie has a big role in this one too. But others from the first movie play a major role.
The movie is able to connect as well as the first one did. There are certain things that do not work in the best way (I think that some people would be deserving of ... well some more punishment) ... but it always is in the eye of the beholder and their moral code I reckon.
Apparently there is a tv show - which plays after the movies? Curious to see how that plays out. Since I've seen the movie, I will be trying to watch the show as soon as possible. Good crime movies are rare to find ...
