I first met Ma Dong-seok (aka Don Lee) in the horror-thriller Train to Busan in which he was fantastic. I haven't watched The Outlaws but this sequel is fun and entertaining. The action sequences involving him and Sukku Son (as Kang Hae-sang) are amazing: so precise, deadly moves. I had to rewind those sequences inside a bus because I found them authentic. I just wonder the hard work that had gone through to set it up and produce the exciting scenes. Ma Dong-seok makes it appear so easy.
It's an action movie with a difference. The difference is in the comedy that punctuates it. Plus the fact that the lead actor is really likeable in a funny sort of way.
Watch it for relaxation.
