Three Weird Tales
21 December 2022
The reporter Caroline Jarvis (Kerry Norton) goes to a facility to interview Dr. Jordan, but his son Balthesar (Daniel Jordan) tells that his father is dead, He shares three short stories with Caroline:

a) "Get Real": The executive Dave Bartlett (Jonathan Coote) is married with a daughter and addicted in games. One day, a co-worker gives the address of the manufacturer of illegal games and Bartlett becomes addicted in the games. Soon his addiction turns into paranoia.

B) "The Perfect Murder": the writer Richard West (David Gilbrook) wrote only one successful novel and the actress Maria West (Caron Darwood) married him in a loveless marriage. One day, an agent offers a large amount to him to write the screenplay of a crime film. Richard is blocked and the agent asks if he would like to kill his wife. He uses this motivation to write the perfect murder with tragic consequences.

C) "The Patient": A patient is trapped in a hospital and he cannot leave the place.

"Virtual Terror" is a film composed with a lead segment and three short stories. "Get real" is interesting, showing the effects of addiction in games. "A Perfect Murder" is excellent, with a great story with touches of black humor. "The Patient" and the lead story are messy and difficult to understand. My vote is six.

Title (Brazil): "Pesadelos" ("Nightmares")
