Second In A Trilogy
10 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I saw Detective Knight: Redemption, starring Bruce Willis-Death Wish_2018, Planet Terror; Miranda Edwards-Snowpiercer_tv, Supernatural Academy_tv; Lochlyn Munro-Riverdale_tv, White Chicks and Paul Johansson-One Tree Hill_tv, John Q.

This is the second in a trilogy about Detective Knight, played by Bruce Willis. The first was Detective Knight: Rogue in 2022 and the next is Detective Knight: Independence coming out in 2023. I'm sure you've heard about the medical condition of Aphasia that Bruce has been diagnosed with and that is making him retire from acting-I saw that he only has 2 more movies coming out next year, one being the third in this trilogy. Anyway, this one starts with Bruce in jail for what happened in the first installment and his partner Lochlyn is in a wheel chair, recovering from his injuries. Paul is the bad guy, leading a team of henchmen that dress up in Santa Claus suits as they rob banks and terrorize the city-the first movie used a Halloween theme so I can hardly wait for part 3, Easter Bunnies maybe? Miranda is the cop that has to let Bruce out of jail in order to take care of Paul and his buddies, in exchange for a full pardon. There are a few flashbacks to the first movie and a scene just as the end credits start. Bruce doesn't have a lot of dialogue-understandably-and most of the time, other characters do all the talking.

It's rated R for violence and language and has a running time of 1 hour & 33 minutes.

I'm a big fan of Bruce Willis but I don't think I would buy this one on DVD. If you like him, it would be worth streaming.
