Border agent, Charlie (Jack Nicholson) gets transferred to another city with better pay performing the same duties but only to find corruption within some of the people he works involving human trafficking.
Upon reading film critic Leonard Martin's brief movie review of "The Border" I could not help but agree with him since the movie does contain some action in it it still needed director Sam Peckinpah's touch for it could have been much more than what was shown. Jack Nicholson's performance is still superb as usual along with the rest of the cast as Harvey Keitel and Warren Oates. Viewers would have had more action in it had The Border had Peckinpah directed it.
