I'd class myself as a relative newbie to The X Files, until this point, I wasn't even aware that The Lone Gunmen had their own series, and I would assume that knowledge of that series would have made this one a whole lot easier to follow, and perhaps more clear.
Hugely dramatic, with a big shock in store, this episode literally starts off as quite a light hearted caper, but ends with a stark, dramatic conclusion, it was very, very well acted, and well delivered.
Reyes and Doggett light, The Lone Gunmen were centre stage, and were wonderful as always, fans of theirs will have mixed views on this one.
Special effects were unusual I think it's fair to say, but in keeping with the quirky tone.
