This Horror movie is not for everyone.
This film is like Escape Plan (2013) + The Witch: Part 1-The Subversion (2018) + some World War 2 Japanese experiment + gore.
Those who like mindless action with violent, bloodthirsty people killing each other with blood gushing out every 5 minutes would love this movie.
Please don't watch it because of your favourite actor(s), like Seo In-Guk or Jung So-Min. They aren't that bad, but you will be disappointed. (especially Seo In-Guk, who was severely underutilised)
Plot Synopsis with SPOILERS: The movie starts with a ship with hardcore criminals being transported to South Korea. Then, someone lets the criminals out loose and plenty of bloodshed happens. The typical cop vs criminals gunfight ensues, followed by the leader of cops vs the leader of criminals ultimate fight. Suddenly, the body which was under anaesthetic earlier wakes up & jumps into the scene & starts annihilating people but behaving like The Terminator. The main characters discover that he was the subject of Japanese WW2 experiment that made him kinda like a Super Soldier with superior strength, lightning speed and killer instincts. (WTF?) Later, it was revealed that, one of the main characters, the Good Guy was also injected such Super Serum, having the same super powers. Even the Main Villain had the same powers! Good Guy beats the Main Villain & the movie ends with a flashback that the Main Villain actually spared Good Guy's kid.
I wonder why did the main cast even agreed to star in this movie. Overall, the movie is just an over-ambitious, laughable premise. Probably the good part of this movie, is the part where one female criminal was not detected by the heat-detector as she was in the cold storage.
