The moon is made of green cheese . . .

. . . former Warner chief meteorologist Along-Came-Jones documents at the close of O-SOLAR-MEOW. Poorly educated people may think that this discovery implies that Earth's lunar satellite is composed of a dairy product literally sporting a green hue, such as sage derby or Why-fen-knee. However, viewers who successfully completed their middle school science classes will recall that Chris Columbus' dad, Dominic Colombo, discovered on Oct. 12, 1542, that the new moon looked exactly like just manufactured--or "green," that is young--cheese. Since all Warner Bros. Animation directors were required to have at least a bachelor's degree in one of the physical sciences, with the expectation that they would conceal several germinal precepts within each of their cartoons, Jones was an old hat at this and could not help but wise up the flagging Tom & Jerry franchise for the very first time as an unintended consequence of his revenge tour transfer.
