Its ok for an Asylum movie
12 November 2022
The Asylum has been around for a while now, and yes this movie is from 2016, but i watched it in late 2022. I know what is The Asylum and what they produce. Sometimes i enjoy myself decently with their low budget movies, sometimes i really don't. In this case, it was alright...

If you decide to watch an Asylum movie, you should know what you gonna get wich is basically average to subpar acting, mediocre scripte, bad CGI and more often than not, some nice naked girls. This movie check all the marks.

The acting is alright and actually better than expected, the nudity is completely useless to the script but very welcomed as that lady is very hot ;) and when it comes to special effects, the CGI is terrible because lets face it, The Asylum never really get much budget, and it looks like a Playstation 3 cutscene at best, but the practical effects and real dogs they used to portray the wolves were decent.

Obviously they had to go around a few things, you got A LOT of close up shots of the real animals and the camera can get pretty shaky at times, but it never look super terrible or anything.

The script ain't amazing by any means but its serviceable. For a movie call Little Dead Rotting Hood tough, there is a lot more screen time for Eric Balfour's Sheriff character. That said, he was probably the best actor in the movie.

The reality is i saw this movie for rent for 1$ during the Halloween discounts on Xbox, i knew what i was gonna get when i saw it was an Asylum movie and it was just that, no bad surprise at all. I was fine paying 1$ for that and it was midly entertaining for that 90 minutes. Thus why i am giving it the average rating.
