Neat chiller, but feel something is lost with the English dub of this film. Egor's life becomes difficult when his family and baby sister move to a new home, and his sister's nanny begins acting strange. Could be have met the evil witch Baba Yaga? Visually, this is a stunning film, with visual references to The Shining, Evil Dead, Nightmare on Elm Street , and I'm sure many others. Kind of an interesting mix of practical and CGI effects provide the scares. At times, the incredible set design is both visually stunning and terrifying. "Terror" loses a little steam in the back half, due to plot exposition, or perhaps filmmakers rushed to tidy up all loose ends. It's scary l, but probably still not too scary for young teens and tweens. Recommended for all genre fans.
