The film wrongly shows Prince Bedruddin as the figure who offered Sarawak Proper (Kuching area) as a reward to James Brooke for his help in crushing the rebellion in Sarawak. In fact, it was Prince Bedruddin's brother, Rajah Muda Hashim was not shown at all. Hashim had a close friendship with James Brooke and it was him who promise to give Sarawak to James Brooke. Second incorrect facts in the movie is about the death of Prince Makota who is shown beheaded by Brooke during the end. In fact, Makota actually died when his boat capsized while he was on his way to Limbang to suppress a rebellion there.
