A Little Too Raw

Warning: Spoilers
This ain't nothing but the Bishop Eddie Long story. I didn't find it as funny as much as kinda too real. There were definitely some funny parts like when they both recited Knuck If You Buck word for word-but then the laughs were dampened when you consider what REALLY happened. For example like when they show them trying to make love and he automatically flips her over-hinting at the not-yet revealed part of the movie where you found out he was having gay sex as part of his infidelity. Regina Hall and Sterling K. Were the superb actors they've always been, and I was delighted to see Nicole Beharie in here doing her thing as well. But the story is d_mn near a biopic-they should've released this as such with a disclaimer of being "loosely based on true events". Instead it was billed as a comedy and that's where it lost most people-including me. New Birth is right up the street from me. And although it's still in operation (barely from what I can see), can't nobody forget what Bishop Long was accused of before he died. I hope those boys (now men) found closure and that this movie doesn't add insult to injury for what they've been through.😩😩😩
